ACC Blitz Presented by Ram Trucks Kicks Off Second Season on September 1st
Charlotte, N.C. – Raycom Sports today announced that the Ram Truck brand has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the college football studio show on the ACC Network. The “ACC Blitz presented by Ram Trucks” will complement coverage of Atlantic Coast Conference Football on the ACC Network this fall. Airing at noon every Saturday of the college football season, the show is hosted by Tom Werme and Tommy Bowden.
“We are proud to continue our support of the ACC games through our sponsorship of ACC Blitz,” said Al Gardner, Director – Southeast Business Center, Chrysler Group LLC. “ACC fans share the same winning spirit and guts and glory attitude as our Ram trucks.”
“We are very excited to have Ram as the presenting sponsor for ACC Blitz,” said Jimmy Rayburn, chief operating officer for Raycom Sports. “The studio show has been a great addition to the ACC Network coverage. We feel that having a partner such as the Ram Truck brand builds upon the momentum from last season for the ACC Blitz presented by Ram Trucks. And it also gives fans a unique view of the Conference each week leading into our ACC Network telecasts.”
The Ram Truck brand continues to establish its own identity and clearly define its customer. Ram increases the capabilities of its hardest-working trucks – the Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab trucks – and adds a new Ram Cargo Van, which expands Ram’s reach into the Class 1 segment.
The new 2013 Ram 1500 with best-in-class fuel economy and current model Ram 2500 / 3500 Heavy Duty pickups include a variety of safety, fuel efficiency and convenience features. Ram Truck has emerged as a full-size truck leader by investing substantially in new products, infusing them with great looks, refined interiors, durable engines and features that further enhance their capabilities.
