Job Overview:

Raycom Sports is seeking a Customer Specialist to join our sales and marketing team.  The Customer Specialist will perform assigned duties designed to support and expand service to our existing client base; this position will also identify opportunities for developing new business partners across our suite of products – including broadcast, digital, sponsorship and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to clients in a courteous, timely and reliable manner
  • Generates, reviews, and understand reports
  • Evaluates viewing data and consumer insights for use in sales presentations
  • Researches sports media spending and works with sales team to source new business through categories and prospects for our integrated suite of products
  • Undertake projects as assigned with ability to meet deadlines
  • May provide technical guidance and/or training to coworkers

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Sports knowledge a plus
