Online Segments and Television Show Each Earn Bronze Telly Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Telly Awards has named ACC Road Trip as winner of two Bronze Awards in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards. Produced by Raycom Sports, ACC Road Trip’s online segments won in the category of Internet/Online Program Segments, or Professional Pieces – Sports and the year-end syndicated ACC Road Trip television show won in the category of TV Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces – Sports.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “ACC Road Trip’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

Raycom production team members who produce ACC Road Trip include Jeremy Williams, Alex Farmartino, Chris Duzan, Max Brooke, Richard Brooke and host Tommy Kane.

ACC Road Trip takes fans to a different ACC game to take in the entire “game day” experience, as they check out the campus hot spots, local restaurants and best tailgates. Plus, Kane takes a unique, up-close and often comical look into the pageantry and game day traditions that makes ACC football so great. From rubbing Howard’s Rock and running the hill with the Clemson Tigers, becoming a “glitter guy” at Florida State, streaking “The Lawn” at UVA, and camping out overnight with the Cameron Crazies, Kane has taken the cameras with him to share the ACC experience with fans everywhere.

ACC Road Trip has been honored in the past with two Emmy Awards and several Telly Awards, while host Tommy Kane received an Official Honoree Award for Best Reality/Variety Host in the 2010 Webby Awards.
